Called a few chimney repair companies for quotes to rebuild top of chimney.
1) left message, never heard from them.
2) left message, spoke to scheduler, said very backed up due to lack of workers. Told me to call back in a couple weeks.
3) called Old Tyme Chimney and Dan answered his phone and told me he could look at it the day after tomorrow. Met with Dan and he quoted X number of dollars to tear down 3 tiers of brick, rebuild, repointed to roof line, and waterproof chimney.
Set repair date, crew of 2 showed up early and got started. Dan stopped by to check in on job.
TURNED OUT 5 TIERS OF BRICK NEEDED TO BE REMOVED AND REPLACED, Dan instructed brick layers to continue and replace extra tiers and held original quote!
The job came out great, cleaned up work area>
I would highly recommend OLD TYME CHIMNEY for any brick work or chimney work.
